The following is a list of procedures that are followed by all of our employees.

Uniform

White company t-shirt.
White painter pants or shorts.
CSA rated footwear and hardhats to be worn if on
commercial construction sites.


Workshop Setup


A workshop shall be set up on-site upon commencement of the project.

This area will be somewhere out of the way such as a basement,garage or laundry room.

All paint shall be poured in this area with the exception of trays which will be filled in the immediate work area.

Work Shop will be cleaned at the end of every day.

All empty cans will be left with lids off.

Painting Procedure


Room preparation is done ie;drop sheets, paper, furniture covered etc.
All prep work is done (filling, caulking & sanding).
Surfaces will be pole sanded.
Vacuum and/or sweeping of dust.
Taping to be performed (if necessary).
Prime where necessary.
Ceilings are to be painted.
Trim is to be painted.
Walls are to be painted.


Clean up

All drop sheets will be packed up, poly removed, paper/tape removed, floors swept and garbage bagged.

If required, areas will be vacuumed and cleaned.

All unused paint is to be labeled and left with the client
(except whites, blacks and all primer).

*If client insists that we remove left over paint there is a $5/gallon and $10/five gallon charge. This charge is based on numbers of cans even if they are only partially full.

All empty cans (which should be dry) must be placed in a garbage bag and left with the clients garbage.

All empty pails should be kept for further use.
